Whilst on holiday, Andrea noticed an abandoned fishing boat on the sandy mud flats of Dulas Bay. This looked really interesting, so she waited for low tide and then she set-off to explore in her one-piece smoothskin wetsuit and a pair of neoprene Muckboot riding boots.

She boarded the boat, doing her best to look like Keira Knightley in "The Curse of the Black Pearl" and then swam across the Afon Goch and explored the muddy shoreline. Back across the river she found extensive mud flats and salt marshes. Wading, splashing and playing mud angels was great fun, but very tiring indeed. It was time to rinse off in the river and head for home before the tide came in too far.
